About the SLAC Site Office
The SLAC Site Office, part of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Science (SC), plays a critical role in overseeing the operations of SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (SLAC). We are located on-site to ensure the lab operates safely, efficiently, and effectively in support of groundbreaking scientific research.
Our Mission:
