Andi Webb

Andi Webb has taught STEM at Alderman Road Elementary School for nineteen years and serves as an instructional coach with a focus on mathematics. Ms. Webb attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and earned a double major in elementary education and English. She received her Master of Education degree with a K-8 science focus from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in educational leadership at East Carolina University. In addition to receiving her National Board Certification in Literacy/Language Arts, Ms. Webb’s honors include being selected as the 2012 North Carolina Elementary Social Studies Teacher of the Year, a Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program in Singapore, and a Career Award for Science and Mathematics Teachers recipient through Burroughs Welcome Fund. Ms. Webb is a member of the North Carolina Science Leadership Association, a National Geographic Certified Educator, a NOAA Teacher at Sea alumna, and an Earthwatch fellow. Ms. Webb also served on the North Carolina Governor’s Teacher Network and has participated in extensive international travel with a focus on collaboration with educational partners around the world.
