User Statistics Collection Practices

High quality user statistics are instrumental to documenting and understanding the impact of each facility and are a critical tool for facility and program leaders in strategic planning. The Office of Science upholds a set of core principles regarding user statistics collection practices at its user facilities:

The following document, issued annually, contains descriptions of our user statistics collection practices. It is intended to promote transparency and efficacy in these practices and to foster awareness of the diversity of user interactions supported by the user facilities.
